Tony Yap is a business consultant for research and data analytics, specialising in technology applications. He is the founder of Socralytics AI, a company that focusing on developing advanced data and technology solutions to address business challenges. He has significant experience in data science and research, and has published over 20 high-impacts research papers involving data analytics, used and cited by prestigious institutions like Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford. Tony holds a double masters (MSc. and MBA) and has transitioned from being a Research Scientist in genomics and bioinformatics to focusing on applied technology and artificial intelligence in solving business problems. He has previously won the Young Scientist Award in Malaysia. Recently, he has also won the NASA Space Apps Challenge Malaysia and was a Global Nominee and Global Finalist with honorable mention by NASA judges in the U.S for developing cutting-edge AI application and AI bots for NASA. In 2024, he served as a challenge judge for NASA in Malaysia. Currently, Tony is actively working on various AI-augmented and AI-enhanced technology projects, including AI applications and AI chatbots, web development, SEO, and digital marketing. His goal is to leverage advanced AI technology and analytics to solve real-world business problems and to enhance business productivity.
